These pictures were taken on 12.04.1997 during "Never Mind The Ballots" / "Reclaim The Streets" - a demonstration that turned into a riot! We were on the way to an exhibition when armed police arrived, sealed off streets and trapped us on Trafalgar Square. It got quite scary towards the end when the police charged and people retaliated by throwing bricks and bottles. Not sure whether to take pictures or run for my life I ended up doing the latter...
